How long will it take to complete my scrapbook?
This will depend on how many photos you want to use in your scrapbook. Each page can take several hours to complete. All of the details will be discussed at our initial consultation. A scrapbook with 20 pages will take approximately 6 weeks.

A 12 x 12 page will fit 3-5 photos nicely. An 8 x 8 page will usually fit 1-3 photos. If the photos can be cropped, then more can fit on a page.
Can I see some of the pages of my scrapbook before it is completed?
Of course! I will e-mail you copies of the first couple of pages to be sure that I am designing your scrapbook the way you envisioned. At that time, we can discuss any changes or additions you may have.

What is cropping a photo?
Cropping a photo is cutting away the unnecessary sections or background of the photo. Cropping can be done to either allow more photos on a page or to focus on the person in the photo.
Journaling tells the story behind the photos and it's what makes a scrapbook different from a plain photo album. Imagine sitting next to someone looking through your scrapbook while you describe who, what, where, when, why and how for each of the photos or events. Writing the story through journaling means you won't have to tell the story every single time. The most common ways are to print the journaling by computer, or I can leave a space for you to hand-write on the page. Your family will appreciate the story for generations.
